No. 20 Washington (4-2, 1-2 Pac-12) at Arizona State (4-2, 2-1), 6 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks)
Line: Arizona State by 3.
Series record: Tied at 15-15.
WHAT'S AT STAKE
A critical game for two teams hoping to stay in the Pac-12 division races. Washington had a brutal opening to the conference schedule, following a win over Arizona with losses to then-No. 5 Stanford and No. 2 Oregon. They're already two games behind the Ducks and Oregon State in the North Division and can't afford another loss. Arizona State is a half-game behind UCLA in the South with more tough games coming up.
Arizona State's run defense against Washington RB Bishop Sankey. Stopping the run has been a problem for the Sun Devils over the past two seasons, particularly this year with a schedule front-loaded with power-running teams. Arizona State is 75th nationally against the run, allowing 168.8 yards per game, and will face a big test against Sankey, the nation's leading rusher at 149.8 yards per game.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Washington: QB Keith Price. With Arizona State likely to load up to stop Sankey, Price can be the release valve to take off some of the pressure. The senior is 12th nationally with a completion percentage of 69 percent and has thrown for 1,576 yards and 12 touchdowns with four interceptions.
Arizona State: QB Taylor Kelly. The junior had a superb first season as ASU's starter in 2012 and has backed it up with another strong year. He's seventh nationally in total offense at 335 yards per game and has thrown for 16 TDs, eighth nationally.
