War of Words Between Andre Berto and Robert Guerrero Begins: Fan Reaction

Former WBC welterweight champion, Andre Berto (28-1-0, 22 knockouts), will get to square up against Robert Guerrero (30-1-1, 18 knockouts) on Nov. 24, and the 29 year-old couldn't be any happier with the matchup.

Berto -- who has had his share of problems in the past year -- seems confident that he'll be able to secure the WBC interim welterweight title -- he lost the full belt to Victor Ortiz in 2011 -- and he's looking forward to besting Guerrero at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif.

"I was at his [Guerrero's] fight with Aydin and it was really close to me," Berto said during a conversation with ESPN. "[Selcuk] Aydin didn't really have too much to bring, just that power and pressure. He was one dimensional. I bring a lot more to the table -- speed, power, I can box and I can bang it out if I have to. I'm an all-around fighter. It's gonna be an exciting fight."

Guerrero is just as excited about the upcoming matchup, as a win against a huge welterweight like Berto would prove once and for all that he's a legitimate 147-pounder. "The Ghost" doesn't seem bothered by the fact that he will be giving up some size against Berto, and he's certain his technique will guide him to another victory.

"It doesn't matter if he's impressed with me or not," Guerrero responded during an interview with Boxingscene.com. "He still has to fight me. … I have my own strategy and I just can't wait to go out and put it to work. To see him out there with [Luis] Collazo, a guy who can't crack an egg, and he almost had [Berto] out on his feet. When I see that, I don't need to be a big puncher."

I definitely like the Guerrero-Berto matchup, and it does have the potential to be one of the most entertaining fights of the year. Both men have a lot to gain with a victory, as the winner of the fight will be in line for another big-money fight.
