Cameron Wake's holdout over his contract situation with the Miami Dolphins proved to be short-lived.
According to the Miami Herald, Wake has rejoined the Dolphins' voluntary work and will be with the team while his agent, Paul Sheehy, tries to work on a contract extension for the former CFL star. Wake was a no-show when the program began last week.
"Cameron felt like he had to go in to speak with Joe Philbin face to face, man to man, out of respect to him as a new coach," Sheehy said. "They spoke, and Cameron decided to work with his teammates during this voluntary period, while I work on the business side of things with the Dolphins."
