Wade questionable for Game 5

The Miami Heat could be without guard Dwyane Heat for Game 5 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.

Wade suffered a bruised right knee in Miami's 88-65 win on Monday night in Chicago and is considered questionable for a potential closeout game in Miami. The Heat hold a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Wade received treatment on the knee Tuesday from the team's medical staff, which will monitor his status and determine Wednesday whether he will available to play. Wade's right knee has bothered him for the past two months.

"His status hasn't changed," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "We all know what he's dealing with. He's day to day. We'll evaluate him today. We'll evaluate him tomorrow and go from there."

Bulls forward Jimmy Butler and Wade banged knees in the second quarter on Monday night. Wade finished the game with six points in 29 minutes.

Wade has struggled in the playoffs against the Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks, averaging 12.3 points. He sat out Game 4 of the first-round series with the Bucks.

"We know what it is and it's about managing it right now," Spoelstra said.
