Wade Miley tosses seven one-run innings vs. Padres

Diamondbacks pitcher Wade Miley didn't factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing one earned run on seven hits and two walks in seven innings while striking out five in his team's 2-1 loss to the Padres.

Miley was sharp Tuesday, needing just 85 pitches to complete seven innings and surrendering only one extra-base hit. However, his offense couldn't provide him the support needed for a win. Miley owns a 4.18 ERA and 168:64 K:BB ratio in 183 innings. He's scheduled to face the Dodgers Sunday.
