VMI races past Va. Lynchburg 110-78

LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) -- Rodney Glasgow scored a career-high 33 points and VMI hit the 100-point mark for the third time this season, in a 110-78 win over Virginia University of Lynchburg on Monday night.

Glasgow's previous high was 31, set last season against Charleston Southern. This time he was 12 of 22 from the field, including 7 of 15 from 3-point range. He had 12 points at halftime and his final bucket came with 5:43 left in the game.

QJ Peterson contributed 23 points and D.J. Covington recorded his third straight double-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds for VMI (6-4). Phillip Anglade had 13 points, 13 rebounds and eight blocks for the Keydets. Anglade's eight blocks were one shy of tying a school record.

Irving Cato scored 18 points for Va. Lynchburg and Dennis Gravely added 12. The Dragons were held to 37.8 percent shooting and turned the ball over 21 times.
