"The value of a degree from Virginia is hard to beat. I also really like that my family could easily see me and I can get home if I needed to." Brown also said the Cavaliers coaches factored in his decision. "It starts with Mike London," Brown said. "I trust him and all the other coaches at UVa. I have a special bond with him that nobody else could replicate." Brown is entering his senior year in high school. He had 83 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 11 sacks his junior year. The Cavaliers also got a commitment from safety Quin Blanding out of Bayside High in Virginia Beach, Va., in February. ESPN ranks him as the No. 11 recruit and tops among safeties.
