Vikings rookie kicker Blair Walsh
was named Special Teams Player of the Week for the NFC.
Walsh went 4-for-4 on field goals in his NFL debut. The sixth-round pick out of Georgia who replaced Ryan Longwell
made field goals of 20, 42, 55 and 38 yards and was 2-2 on extra points.
His 55-yarder sent the game into overtime. Walsh connected on a 38-yard game-winner in overtime; the kick held up as the Vikings were able to stop Jacksonville on its overtime possession.
