Vikings QB Ponder questionable with elbow bursitis

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder is questionable for Saturday night's NFC wild-card playoff game against the Green Bay Packers with shoulder bursitis in his right elbow, according to 1500 ESPN Twin Cities.

Bursitis is a buildup of fluid that might have to be drained before the game. Ponder reportedly had the same elbow drained several times when he was a senior at Florida State.

Ponder split reps with backup Joe Webb in practice during the week.
