Minnesota Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen and linebacker Jasper Brinkley were fined for plays against the Green Bay Packers last weekend, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported Friday.
Griffen was fined $15,750 for roughing Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Brinkley was fined $7,875 for a facemask against wide receiver Randall Cobb. There was no penalty called on the play.
The Vikings promoted offensive tackle Troy Kropog from the practice squad, replacing wide receiver Percy Harvin, who as placed on injured reserve Wednesday.
Defensive end Jared Allen (shoulder/back) practiced Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday. He is listed as probable.
Running back Adrian Peterson was taken off the injury report Friday after not practicing Thursday.
