Boston Red Sox outfielder Shane Victorino was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's Game 4 of the World Series because of lower back tightness.
Daniel Nava took his place in right field and hit second in Boston's lineup. Jonny Gomes will play left field and hit fifth.
The Red Sox also announced that David Ross will be their starting catcher for Game 4. He replaces Jarrod Saltalamacchia, whose errant throw led to the Cardinals' walk-off victory in Game 3 on Saturday night.
