Senior guard Rob Brandenberg scored 18 points and Virginia Commonwealth finished undefeated at home for the first time since the 1970-71 season with an 86-67 victory over St. Bonaventure on Saturday night. VCU (24-7, 12-4 Atlantic 10) also got 13 points and 14 rebounds from fellow senior forward Juvonte Reddic. The two were taken off the court to a standing ovation with just over a minute to play. Forward Treveon Graham added 18 points of his own. St. Bonaventure (16-14, 6-10) was led by guard Matt Wright's 21 points. The Bonnies got to within six points in the second half, but could get no closer to ruining the Rams Senior Night. With the victory, VCU clinched either the second or third seed in next week's Atlantic 10 tournament. The Rams will be the No. 2 seed if St. Joseph's loses to LaSalle on Sunday and the third if the Hawks win. St. Bonaventure could still be the eighth or ninth seed depending on what happens in Sunday's action. VCU led 44-28 at the half.
