VCU 69, Old Dominion 48

Senior forward Juvonte Reddic posted his third double-double of the season, leading Virginia Commonwealth to a 69-48 victory over Old Dominion Saturday at Stuart Siegel Center in Richmond, Va.

Reddic recorded season highs of 24 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots for the Rams (8-2), who have won four in a row since suffering an 84-80 loss to Georgetown on Nov. 24. Junior guard Treveon Graham added 13 points, five assists and four rebounds for the Rams, who shot just 37.5 percent from the field but made 7 of 16 from 3-point range.

Sophomore guards Keenan Palmore and Aaron Bacote scored 13 points apiece for Old Dominion (4-5), which has lost four in a row. Junior forward Richard Ross contributed eight points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots.

Virginia Commonwealth amassed a huge 50-34 rebounding advantage and forced 13 steals, including five steals by junior guard Briante Weber. Old Dominion committed 21 turnovers, including nine by Bacote and six by Palmore.

The Rams' bench outscored the Monarchs' bench 22-0. The Rams' reserves did not shoot the ball particularly well, making just 7 of 31 field-goal attempts, but the Monarchs' reserves were 0 of 8 from the field and 0 of 4 from beyond the arch.
