Hyndman to leave FC Dallas at season's end

It looked was recent history repeating itself, but the Vancouver Whitecaps overcame two ugly goals to earn a point in a 2-2 draw against FC Dallas.

For the second time in a week, the opening goal came for Dallas in the form of an own goal by a Whitecaps player. It was a harsh decsion, though, as Kenny Cooper's attempt at a headed redirection of Michel's corner pinged off the back of Andy O'Brien's head in the ninth minute.

Matt Hedges doubled Dallas' lead shortly after halftime, beating slow-off-his-line Joe Cannon to a loose ball headed over the top.

Vancouver tied it up in the 72nd minute. 18-year-old Kekuta Manneh collected a loose ball, sitting back from a goalmouth scrum, and finished to put his team back into the game

And three minutes later, the game was all square. Camilo Sanvezzo finished close in after an excellent run by Manneh to beat two men down the left wing and work in a cross.

The final nail in the coffin of Dallas' 2-game winning streak came shortly after, as Jackson was shown the red card for smashing the back of his hand into Alain Rochat's face.

Despite dropping points from a winning position, Dallas remains top both in the Western Conference and MLS overall.
