USC is widely considered the college football powerhouse out West. Its easy to see why -- no other school this side of Texas comes even close to USC in terms of football prestige.
This upcoming season is looking like another special one, with the surprising return of Heisman front-runner Matt Barkley. With a tough schedule this season featuring games against Oregon, Notre Dame, and Washington, not to mention the Pac-12 Championship Game, it should be an exciting season.

Other Interesting Facts:
- USC and UCLA are the only major college football rivals that reside in the same city. In fact, USC's campus is located closer to UCLA's football stadium, the Rose Bowl, than UCLA is. For many years, both schools played at the L.A. Coliseum, though that must have been awkward for UCLA (the Coliseum is across the street from USC).
- USC is one of only three schools to have never played a Division I-AA, or FCS, opponent. The other two? Rivals UCLA and Notre Dame.
- Famous Alumni fight off: Will Ferrell was chosen to represent USC in ABC's hilarious pre-Rose Bowl introduction opposite Mattew McConaughey. Watch the video here.
Nithin is an avid USC football fan, and alumni class of 2005. USC has never lost a game in which he has attended, whether at home or on the road.
