Bradley assists on Roma winner in return to starting XI

Michael Bradley is back in full training with AS Roma, the Serie A club announced on its official website Monday.  The United States international was out for almost a month with a thigh injury.

Bradley picked up the knock during a training session a couple of days after a successful debut with the club. In his first official match following his move from Chievo Verona over the summer, Bradley started and played the full 90 minutes, contributing a late game-tying assist in Roma's 2-2 draw with Catania on Aug. 26.

The injury caused Bradley, a mainstay in Jurgen Klinsmann's starting lineup, to miss out on the USA's two World Cup qualifiers against Jamaica earlier this month. He also missed Roma's last two matches, but he should be in contention to return to game action on Wednesday, when Roma hosts Sampdoria.

With almost three weeks until the USA's next set of World Cup qualifiers, Bradley has ample time to work his way back to full fitness ahead of crucial matches against Antigua and Barbuda and Guatemala on Oct. 12 and 16, respectively.
