The United States national team will open the fourth and final round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying against Honduras, with Jurgen Klinsmann's charges traveling to play Los Catrachos on Wednesday, Feb. 6.

Following the opening match, the Yanks will play nine more matches, facing each team home and away, before closing out with a game away to Panama on Oct. 15.

In the last four cycles the U.S. has not opened its hexagonal campaign with a loss, drawing 0-0 with Jamaica in qualifying for the 1998 World Cup, defeating Mexico by 2-0 scorelines in qualifying for the 2002 and 2010 editions, and beating Trinidad 2-1 to start the final round of qualifying for the 2006 tournament. Nor has the U.S. lost its final game in that stretch, beating El Salvador (1998) and Panama (2006), and drawing against Trinidad (2002) and Costa Rica (2010).
