ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) J.P. Primm scored 21 points to lead six UNC Asheville players in double figures as the Bulldogs routed Liberty 98-75 Saturday in Big South Conference action.
UNC Asheville (11-6, 4-0), leading 44-34 at halftime, outscored Liberty 54-41 after intermission to pull away from the Flames (5-13, 0-5).
UNC Asheville shot 62.1 percent from the floor (36 of 58). The Bulldogs hit 15 of 29 3-pointers and 11 of 14 free throws.
Primm became the first player in Big South history with 500 assists, 200 steals and 400 rebounds. His totals: 534, 211 and 400, respectively.
John Caleb Sanders led Liberty with 18 points. Jesse Sanders had 12 points and 10 assists to become the Big South's career assist leader with 613.
