UFC Returns to Denver for Valentine's Day Event
The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Saturday announced that it will return to the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colo., for a Feb. 14 UFC Fight Night event.
The promotion announced the event during Saturday night's UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. St. Preux pre-fight event on FOX Sports 2, although no bouts were announced.
It marks the UFC's third event in Broomfield, which is on the outskirts of Denver. The promotion last held an event there in March 2010 with a non-title fight between Brandon Vera and Jon Jones as the headliner. The UFC's last trip to Denver was for UFC 150 in August of 2012 for Benson Henderson vs. Frankie Edgar II.
