UFC on FX 4 Predictions: Fan’s Take

The Ultimate Fighting Championship will try to deliver once again with the "UFC on FX 4" fight card. The event is scheduled for June 22, at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, N.J. Here are my predictions for the entire UFC on FX 4 fight card:

    Gray Maynard versus Clay Guida

Guida ran into some problems in his last fight against current champion Ben Henderson, but I think he'll do a lot better against Maynard. Guida's wrestling is good enough to keep the fight standing, and he should be able to overwhelm Maynard with his high-energy style. Guida wins via decision.

    Sam Stout versus Spencer Fisher

Stout won the first fight between the two. But Fisher evened things out at "UFC Fight Night: Stout vs. Fisher." Their last fight earned them both "Fight of the Night" honors, and I expect them to put on another entertaining performance at UFC on FX 4. At the end of the day, Stout has more momentum on his side, and he should emerge victorious. Stout wins via decision.

    Brian Ebersole versus TJ Waldburger

Waldburger has been pretty impressive in the UFC, winning three of his four fights in the promotion. But he'll be in for a serious test when he faces Ebersole at UFC on FX 4. With a professional MMA record of 49-14-1, Ebersole has been around the block multiple times, and I expect him to add one more win to his resume at UFC on FX 4. Ebersole wins by decision.

    Ross Pearson versus Cub Swanson

Pearson looked good in his featherweight debut, defeating Junior Assunção via unanimous decision at UFC 141. I expect the "Ultimate Fighter" season nine winner to do big things in the featherweight division, and it starts with a win against Swanson. Pearson wins via submission.

    Undercard:

    Hatsu Hioki defeats Ricardo Lamas

    Ramsey Nijem defeats C.J. Keith

    Steven Siler defeats Joey Gambino

    Rick Story defeats Brock Jardine

    Nick Catone defeats Chris Camozzi

    Matt Brown defeats Luis Ramos

    Dan Miller defeats Ricardo Funch

    Dustin Pague defeats Ken Stone
