UFC on Fox 6 Weigh-in Results: First Flyweight Defense, Rampage Finale Get Green Light

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to the United Center in Chicago on Saturday for UFC on Fox 6: Johnson vs. Dodson.

UFC flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson will put his newly minted belt on the line for the first time when he squares off with No. 1 contender John “the Magician” Dodson. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson also dons the main card for what will be his final bout in the Octagon, taking on highly touted light heavyweight Glover Teixeira.

First, however, they and the rest of the UFC on Fox 6 cast had to weigh in on Friday to make their bouts official.

Neither Johnson nor Dodson had any trouble on the scale.

Johnson hit the mark dead on at 125 pounds, while the challenger weighed 124 pounds, and that was with a pouch of Pop Rocks candy in his mouth.

Jackson’s exodus from the UFC comes amid a swell of controversy, the fighter saying that he has constantly felt disrespected by the organization.

He had no trouble making weight and making his final UFC bout official, weighing in at 204 pounds, while his opponent, Glover Teixeira stepped on the scale at 206 pounds.
