UFC on FOX 12 Medical Suspensions: Matt Brown Out Up to Six Months

Robbie Lawler landed a UFC welterweight title shot for winning his Fight of the Night performance with Matt Brown at Saturday’s UFC on FOX 12 in San Jose, Calif. Brown, on the other hand, landed on the medically suspended list, facing the possibility of being out of work for up to six months.

The California State Athletic Commission on Tuesday released the UFC on FOX 12 medical suspensions to MMAWeekly.com, which included a minimum 7-day rest period for every fighter on the card.

UFC on FOX 12 took place on Saturday, July 26, at the SAP Center in San Jose.

UFC on FOX 12 Medical Suspensions

Matt Brown is suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days for a hard bout. He was also suspended 60 days for a nasal laceration, and 180 days for a possible nasal fracture unless cleared by a doctor.

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira is suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days due to a knockout loss. He is also suspended for 60 days for a right eyebrow laceration unless cleared by a doctor.

Clay Guida is suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days for a hard bout. He is also suspended 60 days for a facial laceration unless cleared by a doctor.

Josh Thomson is suspended for 60 days for a right eyelid laceration unless cleared by a doctor.

Daron Cruickshank is suspended for 60 days for a left eyelid laceration unless cleared by a doctor.

Kyle Kingsbury is suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days for a hard bout.

Hernani Perpetuo is suspended indefinitely for a possible left wrist fracture and possible right foot fracture. He must be cleared by a doctor.

Tim Means is suspended for 180 days for a possible finger fracture unless cleared by a doctor.

Gilbert Burns is suspended for 60 days for right eyebrow and scalp lacerations and 180 days for a possible left thumb fracture unless cleared by a doctor.

Andreas Stahl is suspended for 180 days for possible left cheek and nasal fracture unless cleared by a doctor.

Noad Lahat is suspended for 60 days for a laceration to right eye.

Steven Siler is suspended for 60 days for a left thumb laceration unless cleared by a doctor.
