UFC Fight Night 82 Weigh-in Results: It's On! Johny Hendricks Hits the Mark
It's been a long and rocky road to get to UFC Fight Night 82: Hendricks vs. Thompson, but following Friday's weigh-in, the event is now official for Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
UFC Fight Night 82 was originally supposed to be the UFC 196 pay-per-view event at the same venue, featuring a heavyweight title bout between champion Fabricio Werdum and former champ Cain Velasquez. After various injuries that derailed any hopes of a championship main event, welterweight contender Johny Hendricks and Stephen Thompson were moved into the headlining role and the event was moved to FOX Sports 1 and dubbed a Fight Night.
And following the weigh-in, everything is set, as Hendricks, who has struggled to make the welterweight limit in the past, easily hit the mark this time. He stepped on the scale at 170 pounds.
Thompson isn't know for struggling with his weight, and didn't have any trouble this time either. He weighed 170 pounds.

The co-main event features a heavyweight fight between fan-favorite Roy Nelson and Jared Rosholt. There is also a pivotal flyweight bout between perennial contender Joseph Benavidez and Zach Makovskly.
