UFC Fight Night 67 Fighter Bonuses: Charles Oliveira Banks $100,000

The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced the fighter bonuses stemming from UFC Fight Night 67: Condit vs. Alves following the event in Goiânia, Brazil, on Saturday. Charles Oliveira banked $100,000, while Nik Lentz and Rony Jason took home an extra $50,000 each.

Fight of the Night honors were awarded to the co-main event fighters: Oliveira and Lentz. The two engaged in a back-and-forth featherweight match-up. Lentz had Oliveira in trouble early, but Oliveira turned the tables. He applied a guillotine choke and dragged Lentz to the canvas early in the final fame. Lentz fought to get free from the submission, but eventually was forced to tap out.

Along with the Fight of the Night distinction, Oliveira also bagged a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus. In total, the 25-year-old Brazilian walked away from the event with an extra $100,000.

Jason earned a Performance of the Night bonus for his first-round triangle choke finish of Damon Jackson on the preliminary card.

Jackson had been using his takedowns to control the fight, and appeared to be working on grinding his way to victory. Jason, however, snagged an arm midway through the opening frame and executed a perfect set-up to secure the choke and the bonus.
