UFC on FOX 12 Results: Robbie Lawler Goes Distance With Matt Brown for Unanimous Decision

A pair of bouts has been added to the UFC on Fox 8 fight card.

Former Strikeforce welterweight titleholder Tarac Saffiedine will make his UFC debut against Robbie Lawler at the Key Arena in Seattle on July 27. Lightweights Bobby Green and Danny Castillo have also been added to the fight card.

The UFC announced the bouts on Thursday.

Saffiedine (14-3) is on a four-fight winning streak and is coming off an upset win over Nate Marquardt for the welterweight title on the final Strikeforce event on January 12.

Lawler (20-9-1 no-contest) returned to the UFC and the welterweight division at UFC 159 on Feb. 23, defeating Josh Koscheck by technical knockout in the first round.

Green (20-5) is riding a five-fight winning streak. He made his UFC debut at UFC 156 on Feb. 2, defeating Jacob Volkmann. The third-round submission earned him Submission of the Night honors.

Castillo (15-5) has won four of his last fight fights. He defeated Paul Sass in his most recent outing on Feb. 16 by unanimous decision.

UFC on Fox 8 will be the organization’s third trip to Seattle’s Key Arena. The promotion last event at the Key Arena was on Dec. 8, and sold out with 14,387 spectators in attendance.
