UFC 184 Medical Suspensions: Pennington, Six Others, Sidelined up to Six Months
In defending her belt at UFC 184, women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey didn’t give enough time for either herself or her opponent, Cat Zingano, to suffer enough damage to earn more than the seven-day mandatory rest period that every fighter on the card was issued.

Co-main event fighter Raquel Pennington, however, topped the list of seven fighters that potentially could be sidelined for upwards of six months due to various issues.
For her part, Pennington was issued a 180-day suspension for the possibility that she may have fractured both of her hands in her 15-minute fight with former world-champion boxer Holly Holm.
The California State Athletic Commission this week issued the full UFC 184: Rousey vs. Zingano medical suspensions. The event took place on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
