TJ Dillashaw retained his UFC bantamweight championship on Saturday night in Sacramento, Calif., with a TKO stoppage of last-minute replacement Joe Soto in the fight round of their pay-per-view headlining bout.

All the fighters on the reduced eight-bout card received at least a mandatory 7-day rest period, but Soto was one of the unlucky fighters that could be out for up to six months due to a possible fracture.
