UFC 169 Picks Up Welterweight and Lightweight Bouts for New Jersey Card

UFC 169 added two fights to its developing card, adding a welterweight match-up and lightweight bout for the New Jersey event.

UFC officials announced on Tuesday that Tony Martin and Rashid Magomedov will fight in a 155-pound affair, and welterweights Neil Magny and Gasan Umalatov will also face each other on the Feb. 1 fight card.

Martin (7-0) will put his undefeated record on the line, while at the same time making his UFC debut. Five of Martin's seven wins have come by submission.

Magomedov (15-1) is a Russian fighter that most recently made his rounds in M-1 Challenge. Nearly half of Magomedov's wins have come by way of knockout or TKO.

Magney (8-3) is in search of getting back in the win column with UFC 169, having lost his last two. He'll get his chance with the debuting Umalatov (14-2-1), who comes into the UFC off a decision win in June, competing in Russia.

UFC 169 will include two title fights, pairing Renan Barao and Dominick Cruz in a bantamweight title bout and Jose Aldo defending his featherweight strap against Ricardo Lamas.
