Yahoo Contributor Network

The Ultimate Fighting Championship is returning to pay-per-view this Saturday (Oct. 13) with a huge card in the great country of Brazil. The event is headlined by UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva moving up to light heavyweight to take on Stephan Bonnar. The co-main event will feature a heavyweight fight between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Dave Herman. Also on the card are a couple of prospects, with welterweight Erick Silva fighting Jon Fitch and light heavyweight Glover Teixeira battling Fabio Maldonado. Another solid welterweight contest between Demian Maia and Rick Story will also be held. Where do the current odds stand for this event with less than 36 hours remaining?

Anderson Silva -1100 vs. Stephan Bonnar +700

Silva comes into this fight as the heavy favorite against Bonnar. Silva has won 16 straight fights, including 15 inside the UFC. He has competed at light heavyweight twice during his run in the UFC, defeating James Irvin in 2008 and Forrest Griffin in 2009. Bonnar has won three straight fights and is 8-6 overall inside the Octagon. He has never been knocked out or submitted before, which is something Silva will hope to change.

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira -320 vs. Dave Herman +260

Nogueira hasn't fought since suffering a broken arm at the hands of Frank Mir last December and is currently just 2-3 in his past five fights. Herman is just 1-2 inside the Octagon, but has most recently lost two straight (Stefan Struve and Roy Nelson), which means another loss could end his short tenure in the UFC.

Erick Silva -135 vs. Jon Fitch +115

Silva has just one loss on his record (disqualification vs. Carlo Prater in January 2012), but has been dominant during his UFC career. He is one of the fastest rising stars in the division and will face his most difficult test with Fitch. Fitch hasn't fought since being upset by Johny Hendricks in December and will hope to derail the title hopes of this young Brazilian, all while improving his title prospects in the meantime.

Other odds:

Demian Maia -150 vs. Rick Story +130

Phil Davis -400 vs. Wagner Prado +325

Glover Teixeira -400 vs. Fabio Maldonado +325
