    UFC 147 Results: Fan Reaction

The changes to the UFC 147 fight card greatly diminished its luster, but Rich Franklin and Wanderlei Silva made up for it by putting on an instant classic. Here are the results of the UFC 147 fight card held on June 23, at the Felipe Drummond Stadium in Belo Horizonte, Brazil:

    Rich Franklin defeats Wanderlei Silva

Both men came out swinging, with Franklin getting the better of the exchanges in the first round. Silva rocked Franklin in the second round, and he almost finished the fight at the end of the round, landing some vicious shots on the former middleweight champion on the ground. 'Ace' was saved by the bell just as it appeared the referee was going to stop the fight. However, Franklin came right back in the third round, and he dominated the rest of the contest, catching Silva in the final seconds of the fight as both men went toe-to-toe. All three judges gave Franklin the nod, 49-46.

    Cezar Ferreira defeats Sergio Moraes

Ferreira seemed to be the more technical striker at UFC 147, but Moraes didn't go out without a fight. After getting rocked in the second round, Moraes fought back with a vengeance, rocking Ferreira with a big elbow, following up with a barrage of punches. The third round of the fight was pretty close, but Ferreira closed it out in style, sending Moraes to the ground with a front kick. All three judges scored the fight in favor of Ferreira.

Rony Mariano Bezerra defeats Godofredo Castro

Bezzera looked good at UFC 147, getting the better of the striking exchanges. He also got some work done on the ground. All three judges scored the fight 29-28 in favor of Bezzera, making him the featherweight winner of the "Ultimate Fighter: Brazil."

    Fabricio Werdum defeats Mike Russow

After a brief feeling-out period, Werdum caught Russow with a big uppercut, putting the Chicago police officer on all fours. He followed up with a salvo of punches, forcing referee Herb Dean to stop their UFC 147 encounter.

    Hacran Dias defeats Iuri Alcantara

It was a pretty entertaining fight for those who enjoy the grappling arts. Unfortunately for Alcantara, Dias proved to be the better grappler at UFC 147, edging out the rounds with his takedowns. All three judges gave Dias the nod.

Rodrigo Damm defeats Anistavio Medeiros de Figueiredo (rear-naked choke, round one)
