LAS VEGAS -- UCLA guard Kyle Anderson had 21 points and 15 rebounds and guard Jordan Adams hit a late go-ahead 3-pointer as the Bruins won the Pac-12 tournament title with a 75-71 victory over fourth-ranked Arizona on Saturday.

Anderson tied the score at 68 by making two free throws with 3:59 left at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and then the teams went scoreless for more than three minutes amid a flurry of missed shots and turnovers.

Adams broke the deadlock with an off-balance 3-pointer with 45 seconds to go. Arizona forward Aaron Gordon put up an airball 3-pointer from the corner on the ensuing possession.

Anderson missed the front end of a 1-and-1, keeping it a one-possession game. But the Wildcats could not answer with two chances. Guard Nick Johnson's 3-pointer was blocked, with the ball going to guard Gabe York, who also missed from behind the arc.

UCLA forward David Wear made two free throws with 4.9 seconds left for a 73-68 lead. Johnson's 3-pointer with 1.0 second left cut the deficit to two before UCLA guard Norman Powell sealed the win with two from the line with 0.4 of a second left.

Anderson made 10 of 13 shots from the line, which was a key area in this game. UCLA hit 21 of 25 free throws. Arizona was 6 of 16 from the line and missed the front end of two late 1-and-1s with the score tied.

Adams had 19 points for UCLA (26-8), which won its first conference tournament title since 2008. Powell added 15.

Johnson led Arizona with 22 points. Center Kaleb Tarczewski scored 12 points. Gordon had 11 points, eight rebounds and eight assists but was 2 of 8 from the line.

Arizona (30-4) is still likely to be a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in the West Regional.

UCLA quieted a pro-Arizona crowd early with a 12-0 run to take a 14-3 lead on Anderson's driving scoop layup. Arizona guard Elliott Pitts ended the run with a 3-pointer and then the teams really went to the races.

Powell had 11 points in the first 10 minutes as the Bruins hit 12 of their first 18 shots from the field against an Arizona defense that allowed a combined 27.6 shooting in tournament victories over Utah and Colorado.

The Wildcats, unable to get stops and transition points, kept pace for a while behind their 3-point shooting, not usually a strength. York went 3-of-3 from behind the arc, including one that brought Arizona to within 31-23.

Tarczewski scored the next six points for Arizona -- on a hook, a dunk and a jumper -- and the arena rocked when Gordon threw a 40-foot alley-oop to Johnson, whose dunk cut the lead to 33-31 with 3:33 before half.

UCLA did not surrender the lead in the half, though, with Anderson matching Powell's 11 points before the break.

The Bruins took a 43-40 lead into halftime, surpassing the point total that Utah had for the entire game against Arizona on Thursday (39) and matching Colorado's output (43) on Friday.
