UALR dominates Grambling State 88-68

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- James White and Will Neighbour combined for 31 points as Arkansas-Little Rock dominated Grambling State 88-68 Monday night.

White totaled 16 points and Neighbour had 15 and nine rebounds. Ben Dillard added 13 points for UALR (5-7).

Grambling (1-8) jumped out to a 7-4 lead but Neighbour hit a jumper at the 15:09 mark to take the lead 9-7. UALR stretched that to a 39-23 advantage at the half. They were ahead 60-30 with 13:01 remaining in the game.

The Trojans dominated in all areas, making 50 points in the paint, compared to Grambling's 16. UALR also had 43 rebounds compared to 27 for Grambling. The Trojans made 70 percent of their field goal attempts in the first half, totaling 34 of 57 for the game. Grambling made 39.7 percent from the field.

A'Torri Shine led Grambling with 19 points and Terry Rose had 17.
