Victoria Azarenka

Victoria Azarenka has brought much pride to her home country of Belarus. She became the first Belarusian to win a Grand Slam singles tournament when she won the 2012 Australian Open by defeating Maria Sharapova. She has once again defeated Maria Sharapova on a grand stage, this time in the U.S. Open semi-finals, advancing the Belarusian star to the final round of the 2012 U.S. Open where she will face American tennis sensation Serena Williams.
