Terrence Boyd couldn't have asked for a better start to his professional career. In the Austrian Bundesliga season opener, the striker scored two goals and added an assist to lead Rapid Vienna to a 4-0 win over Wacker Innsbruck.
After just four minutes, the American striker opened his professional account with a goal from close range. In the 56th minute, Boyd played an unselfish square ball to Christopher Drazan, who converted easily to make it 3-0.
Boyd wasn't done though. In the 71st minute, he completed his double with a well-taken strike that deflected in off the Innsbruck goalkeeper. Just two minutes later, Boyd was removed from the match to a standing ovation.
The 21-year-old striker moved to Rapid Vienna in the offseason after being unable to crack the first team at Borussia Dortmund.
