TV Ratings: ‘Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show’ Dips Again, NBC Wins Slow Night

We’ve now officially entered the hinky phase of December, with some broadcast networks in reruns and specials, others pushing doggedly on with originals.

CBS’ annual telecast of “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” won the 10 p.m. hour with a 2.1 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, but that was yet another drop from last year’s record-low 2.3 in the demo. This year’s special drew slightly more total viewers, though: 6.65 million, compared to 6.6 million last year. CBS’ Monday comedy lineup was a mixed bag. “Kevin Can Wait” came in slightly up with a 1.5 in the demo and 7.17 million viewers. “Man With a Plan” and “2 Broke Girls” both came in with low 1.2s in the demo, though. “Man” garnered 6.2 million viewers; “2 Broke Girls” drew 5.64 million.

NBC won the night with the live semi-finals of “The Voice,” which pulled in 9.99 million viewers and a 2.0 rating in the demo. “Timeless” followed with a 1.2 and 5.2 million viewers (including a minute of overrun from “The Voice”).

ABC brought back “The Great Christmas Light Fight” for a fourth season, and the two-hour premiere averaged a 1.3 in the demo and 6.08 million viewers. The “Conviction” “fall finale” followed with a 0.8 and 3.97 million viewers. However, the ABC lineup in New York and Indianapolis was preempted for Monday night’s Colts-Jets NFL blowout, meaning these numbers will likely tick down in the finals.

Fox’s revival of “Showtime at the Apollo” drew a 1.1 in the demo and 3.81 million viewers.

The CW was in repeats Monday.
