Tuukka Rask: Tweaks Groin
Update: Rask, who is playing for HC Plezen in the Czech League during the NHL lockout, pulled himself out of Tuesday's game after the first period with a minor groin injury, the Boston Herald reports. "I slightly pulled my groin, but it’s not serious," Rask said. "I had groin problems last year, so I took a little rest as a precaution."

Recommendation: Rask suffered a groin strain back on March 3, which ended his regular season, but he was able to suit up as a backup as the playoffs progressed. In seven for Plezen to date, Rask has a spiffy 1.94 GAA and .932 save percentage. Assuming his injury doesn't linger -- and the hope is that he will play Friday -- Rask is eventually slated to work as the No. 1 goalie for the Bruins, with Tim Thomas prepared to sit out the (upcoming?) NHL season.
