The Tulsa Golden Hurricane finished the 2011 football season with an 8-5 record. All five losses came against teams that won at least 10 games, including a 24-21 Armed Forces Bowl loss to BYU. However, the Hurricane dropped only one Conference USA matchup, the final regular season game against Houston. The team will look to continue this success when the 2012 season begins on September 1.
This year, Tulsa's schedule features tough road trips to Arkansas and Houston, while UCF and Rice will travel to Tulsa.
