TUF Brazil 3 Finale Fighter Bonuses: Fighters Collect $50,000 Each in Sao Paulo
Stipe Miocic, Warlley Alves, Kevin Souza and Mark Eddiva all walked away with bonuses for their efforts on Saturday night at the “TUF Brazil 3 Finale.”
Each fighter was awarded $50,000 for their performances at the Ibirapuera Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Miocic wasted no time in handling Fabio Maldonado in the evening's headlining bout, picking up the technical knockout in the first round. With a right cross, Miocic put his opponent down to the canvas and finished off the main event with hammer fists.
Alves experienced the biggest night of his professional career, winning the “TUF Brazil 3″ middleweight tournament with a submission of Marcio Alexandre Jr. in the third round.
The Fight of the Night went to Souza and Eddiva for the show they put on during their preliminary card fight. The two scrapped back and forth until Souza rained enough blows to pick up the TKO win.
