Frankie Edgar defeated BJ Penn at The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale on Sunday night in Las Vegas, cementing his place among the top tier of the UFC featherweight division.

For Penn, however, it was the realization that it was time for him to leave the sport he helped build behind. Penn retired following the fight.

He faces a minimal suspension, but it won’t mean much since he doesn’t intend to return to the Octagon.

The Nevada Athletic Commission on Monday released the TUF 19 Finale medical suspensions to MMAWeekly.com.

The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale: Edgar vs. Penn III took place on Sunday, July 6, at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas.
