Update: The Phillies traded May to the Twins on Thursday, CSN's Jim Salisbury reports.
Recommendation: May, along with Vance Worley, were sent to Minnesota in exchange for Ben Revere. May entered 2012 at number 69 among Baseball America's top 100 prospects, but he struggled a bit, posting a 4.87 ERA and 1.45 WHIP over 28 starts with Double-A Reading. Despite the subpar rates, May did manage to strike out 151 batters in 149.2 innings. His biggest issue has been his walk rate, which stands at a bloated 4.7 career, but if he can figure out a way to cut those down, he could wind up in the Twins' rotation in a couple years.
