Located in the northern half of Michigan's lower peninsula, Treetops Resort is a fantastic place for family and friends to converge for a weekend of fun, food, and plenty of skiing. With a fantastic setup and plenty of ski runs, Treetops Resort has something to offer the entire family.
In my childhood, my entire extended family met at the resort once each year for several years on end. Meeting at Treetops Resort is one of my favorite childhood memories, and I am glad that I am able to continue that tradition today with my own immediate family.

Lift Tickets and Ski Rentals
Treetops Resort offers daily and seasonal lift tickets with special discounts for students with high grade point averages, senior citizens, and AAA members. Daily passes also are available for those who wish to take a winter vacation to the resort. Daily ski and snowboard rentals also are available for an additional fee. The rental counter is located in the hut at the base of the hill.
Lodging
There are 238 comfy rooms located within the lodge at Treetops Resort. Condominiums and chalets also are available for nightly stays. Neither pets nor smoking are allowed in the rooms at Treetops.
The lodge provides an indoor and outdoor pool, two hot tubs, and a sauna. The spa also is located in the main building.
Dining
There are three restaurants at Treetops Resort. With soups, salads, and sandwiches, Legends on the Hill is available for those who just want to make a quick pit stop in between ski runs. Hunter's Grille, which opened in 2011, is a more upscale wine bar with a contemporary atmosphere. Located in the lodge, the Sport's Bar offers American fare.

Treetops Resort is certainly geared toward skiers and snowboarders during the winter months, but there are plenty of activities available even if you don't enjoy the downhill rush. There are several cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails around the property. In addition, Treetops offers options for those who wish to go dog-sledding or tubing.

Just because you don't know how to ski when you arrive doesn't mean you have to miss out on all the downhill fun. Treetops Resort offers skiing and snowboarding lessons for students of all ability levels, beginning with those who have never been on skis before and ranging to those who just want to brush up on their skills. Sign up for ski lessons in the hut at the bottom of the hill. Prices will vary.
