The will-he, won't-he sagas continue to rumble on but, with Arsenal set to miss out on Gonzalo Higuain, Arsene Wenger has set his sights firmly on other targets.
And it seems that the Arsenal boss has a real taste for South America. With Liverpool rejecting another approach for the wantaway Luis Suarez, Wenger may well be set to land Brazilian wonderkid Bernard.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are stepping up their pursuit of Cesc Fabregas, while Tottenham finally look to sign that much-needed striker as Franco Baldini enters talks for Roberto Soldado.
