FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – A slight possibility of rain has been introduced into Saturday’s forecast at The Barclays.
PGA TOUR meteorologist Wade Stettner said Friday that a low pressure system south of Long Island will stall through the weekend. That means a 20 percent chance of showers for the third round.
That’s the only precipitation in The Barclays forecast. Friday morning was mostly sunny, with partly cloudy skies for the afternoon wave and a high temperature of 83 degrees. Breezes from 6-12 mph will come in from the south.
The winds will pick up over the weekend to 15 mph.
