CROMWELL, Conn. — With dangerous weather in the area, play has been suspended at the Travelers Championship.
Players were brought in off the course as the horn blew at 3:19 p.m. ET under darkening skies and a steadily increasing breeze.
There are a line of thunderstorm cells in the area and to the west, the worst of which are currently over western New Jersey.
This is the second delay of the afternoon with the first lasting just over an hour from 12:50 p.m. until 2 p.m. Sunset isn’t until 8:28 p.m., though it seems unlikely the second round will be finished on Friday.
