Defending PGA champion Keegan Bradley, four-time PGA champion Tiger Woods and 2010 PGA champion Martin Kaymer are among the featured groups at the 94th PGA Championship, which begins next Thursday at The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, S.C., Golf Resort. The group tees off Thursday at 8:30 a.m. ET on No. 10 and Friday at 1:40 p.m. on No. 1.
The traditional PGA Championship grouping of the winners of the first three major championships of the year brings together Masters winner Bubba Watson, U.S. Open winner Webb Simpson and British Open champion Ernie Els. They start play Thursday at 1:20 p.m. on No. 1 and Friday at 8:10 a.m. on No. 10.
Bradley-Woods-Kaymer is one of three sets of PGA champions who are grouped together in the first two rounds. The others:
> Shaun Micheel (2003), David Toms (2001) and John Daly (1991), who start Thursday at 8:20 a.m. on No. 1 and Friday at 1:30 p.m. on No. 10.
> Padraig Harrington (2008), Phil Mickelson (2005) and 2012 U.S. Ryder Cup captain Davis Love III (1997), who start Thursday at 1:40 p.m. on No. 1 and Friday at 8:30 a.m. on No. 10.
> Y.E. Yang (2009), Rich Beem (2002) and Vijay Singh (1998 and 2004), who start Thursday at 1:30 p.m. on No. 10 and Friday at 8:20 a.m. on No. 1.

PGA club professional Kelly Mitchum, PGA teaching professional at Pinehurst, N.C., will have the distinction of hitting the opening tee shot off the first tee on Thursday, at 7:20 a.m.
Jose Maria Olazabal, the 2012 European Ryder Cup captain and the only participant from the 1991 Ryder Cup to tee it up next week at The Ocean Course, is paired with PGA club professional Matt Dobyns, who won the 2012 PGA Professional National Championship. Along with Branden Grace of South Africa, that group tees off of Thursday at 7:50 a.m. on No. 10 and Friday at 1 p.m. on No. 1.
Currently, all 108 of the top players in this week’s Official World Rankings are in the field for The Ocean Course. There are 13 PGA champions and 32 major champions in the field.
