NORTON, Mass. — what a day for scoring and spectacular shots at TPC Boston during the second round of the Deutsche Bank Championship.

Seung-yul Noh chipped in from 67 feet for an eagle at the 304-yard, par-4 fourth hole to get to 11 under. At nearly the same time, Chris Kirk holed out from 160 yards for an eagle at the 10th that moved him to 9 under.

The 21-year-old Noh, who has three holes remaining, now owns the lead at 11 under. His playing partner, Ryan Moore, and Rory McIlroy are one shot back in second.

McIlroy, who entered the Deutsche Bank Championship ranked fourth in the FedExCup, actually had been cruising along in the lead after making an 11-footer for eagle at the 18th hole and an 18-footer for birdie at No. 1. But he bogeyed his next two holes to fall back to 10 under.

Kirk is now tied with Bryce Molder at 8 under after a bogey at the 10th hole. Jason Dufner, who appears to be showing no ill effects from taking last week off, has made three birdies through 12 holes and is 7 under for the tournament.
