NORTON, Mass. – Nick Watney is the new No. 1 in FedExCup points but 70 other players have a shot at replacing him at the top this week at the Deutsche Bank Championship.

Any player ranked 71st or better can potentially became No. 1 with a win at TPC Boston. Watney, in winning The Barclays — the opening event of the FedExCup Playoffs — replaced Regular Season champ Tiger Woods atop the points list.

Only the top 70 players in points after the Deutsche Bank will advance to next week’s BMW Championship. Any player currently ranked 54th or better is likely locked into the BMW, which will be played at Crooked Stick.

Also, any player currently ranked 13th or better is likely locked into the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola, the fourth and decisive event of the Playoffs.
