With just one event remaining in the 2012 PGA TOUR season, the heat is on every one of the 128 players that are teeing it up in the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic.

A handful, as usual, are trying to sneak into the top 125, but there’s plenty more at stake: The top 30 on the money list get into the Masters. The PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year race is definitely undecided. And it’s more one chance to win and lock up a spot in the Hyundai Tournament of Champions, and with it, a two-year PGA TOUR exemption.

There have been some big storylines over the last three fall events. Ryan Moore won in his adopted Las Vegas — the same place where he starred at UNLV — and there have been two first-time winners (Jonas Blixt, Tommy Gainey).

What about the rest? Shotlink provides some answers.

Tim Petrovic’s tie for second at the Open gave him a shot at the top 125:

Player Money rank before Fall Current Rank Improvement
Tim Petrovic 198th 134th +64
Jonas Blixt 89th 35th +54
Jason Kokrak 167th 115th +52
Tommy Gainey 102nd 56th +46
Zach Miller 243rd 198th +45

Mathew Goggin 201st 176th +25
Alexandre Rocha 148th 128th +20
David Toms 66th 46th +20

Brendon de Jonge has two consecutive top-fives in the Fall Series:

Player Fall Stroke Average Rounds
Brendon de Jonge 66.13 8
Jonas Blixt 67.55 11
Blake Adams 67.75 8
Jimmy Walker 67.75 8
Michael Thompson 67.88 8

Not surprisingly, Brendon de Jonge is most under par this fall:

Player Score to par Holes played Birdies
Brendon de Jonge -35 144 46
Jonas Blixt -25 198 55
Russell Knox -30 216 45
Bill Lunde -30 216 52
Jeff Overton -28 216 46

On the greens, no one has putted better than Jonas Blixt. He’s second only to Brandt Snedeker for the year in strokes gained-putting, mainly because he’s made everything he’s looked at this fall:

Player Strokes gained-putting this fall Rounds Average per round
Jonas Blixt +20.69 11 +1.88
Chris Riley +12.28 8 +1.53
Brendon de Jonge +10.27 8 +1.28
Alexandre Rocha +12.59 10 +1.26
