Tour Report: Garcia continues to lead

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Sergio Garcia, who is bidding to make the European Ryder Cup team, is certainly giving Captain Jose Maria Olazabal something to smile about this week at the Wyndham Championship.

Garcia, who finished one shot out of a playoff at Sedgefield in 2009, owns a one-stroke lead at 14 under with two holes remaining in his round. Rookie Bud Cauley has just finished off a 66 that put him one stroke off the current pace, tied with Tim Clark, who is playing with Garcia.

Two-time PGA TOUR champ Jason Dufner, is finished at 13 under after shooting 63 on Saturday. He’s tied with Harris English and Carl Pettersson, who each have one hole remaining.

U.S. Ryder Cup Captain Davis Love III, a two-time winner of the Wyndham Championship, is finished at 11 under along with Matt Every. Defending champion Webb Simpson is also at 11 under with three holes remaining.

There are 15 players within four strokes of the lead.
