Tour Report: Discuss: Who will win the Ryder Cup?

MEDINAH, Ill. – European Captain Jose Maria Olazabal finds himself in the same position on this cool, crisp September Sunday morning that Ben Crenshaw was in 1999.

Crenshaw famously said he believed in fate that year, that he had a “feeling” his team could pull off the biggest comeback in Ryder Cup history – and that’s exactly what the Americans did.

When Olazabal, whose team also trails  by four points, was asked Saturday if he had a “feeling,” he laughed. “I believe, yeah, that it’s not over,” he countered. “That’s what I learned from Seve.”

The Europeans are wearing Seve Ballesteros’ trademark navy in Sunday’s Singles, and they are playing tribute to the late Spaniard’s memory by wearing his image on their shirts.

But can Europe spring the upset – or will the Americans continue to roll and win their second Ryder Cup in the last six years? Remember, the U.S. only needs 4.5 points from these 12 head-to-head matches.

It’s going to be an exciting day. Give us your thoughts on how it will play out in the discussion link below.
